Sinopse:
Onigiri introduz seus jogadores ao Japão místico, uma terra repleta de criaturas míticas das lendas japonesas. Começando como um Oni solitário, os jogadores lutam contra a influência maléfica de Kamikui enquanto seu miasma se espalha pela terra. Oito NPCs, cada um com sua própria personalidade e habilidades distintas, aliam-se ao jogador para ajudar a construir uma lenda, e erradicar o mal que se ergueu. Conforme ficam mais fortes juntos, o mesmo acontece com os laços que os ligam.
